Made by a group of Xhosa women living in a small rural area of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The candle-holder is made of natural materials gathered in the Bushveld,  wooden off cuts,porcupine quills and guinea fowl feathers. This project has enabled the women to produce something beautiful that they are proud of, as well as earning an income and therefore becoming more independent.

As the candle is a tea light it is a reusable item.
